CYD Matchbook

CYD® Check Your Drink is a simple to use but highly effective drink spike test which detects within seconds, the presence of widely used drink spiking drugs which contain any amine, such as Ketamine, GHB, Amphetamine, Cocaine, MDMA & Scopolamine.

CYD® is widely available online across Europe and is sold in convenient sized pouches of 5 test strips, convenient pouches to fit in wallets, pockets or bags, and offers the opportunity to stay safe from drink spiking when travelling, socialising or just going about daily life.

Using CYD® to test for the presence of GHB, Ketamine, Cocaine, Scopolamine and any drug containing an amine, (e.g. MDMA & Amphetamine) is very easy.

Simply apply a drop of your drink to the pink and yellow colour-coded areas of the test strip, then observe to see if either colour-coded area changes colour to orange, grey/blue.  If the colour changes in this way, the drink is not safe and should not be consumed.

Drink spiking has become a significant problem in many parts of the world, with an increasing diversity of people being impacted by this crime. We at NeutraDiagnostics are proud to introduce a potential solution to keeping our communities safe from the dangers of drink spiking.

CYD® is now widely available in pharmacies and online, in convenient packs to fit in pockets or bags, and offers the opportunity to stay safe from drink spiking when travelling, socialising or just going about daily life.

  • Validations & Certifications

Both the GHB and the Ketamine test have been developed and validated by two independent bodies: Clinical Trials Laboratory Services (CTLS) and the University of Strathclyde.

As of June 2024, further validation tests have been carried out by Lucideon, UK.

Extensive studies globally (EMCDDA, 2018) and more recent studies in Ireland (Phrassa.com, 2023) have confirmed the disturbing increase in incidents of drink spiking, shedding light on both the prevalence and impact of this crime.

A recent article in the Irish publication Image Magazine, reported figures from the Minister for Justice showing a 9-fold increase in drink spiking between 2020 and 2022.

A survey on drink spiking (Phrassa.com, 2023) revealed that 57% of respondents know someone who has been spiked in the past, with 54% of respondents reportedly being more afraid of their drinks being spiked now than they were five years ago.

NeutraDiagnostics are proud to provide a product to offer protection against this danger – CYD® Check Your Drink.
